The Scenario

Integrity Automation had been with their previous accountant for only a year since they’d started their business but they were lacking the help and insight they needed to run it proficiently.

They were finding that getting answers to questions were difficult and slow.  They did not have a contact point and were unable to develop a relationship with them.

Instead they needed an advisor that better understood their business, was able to work more closely with them and was there to support them.

 

How We Helped

The business had been setup on a digital platform but it was a bespoke in-house system that they did not find easy to use.

Moving to Xero & Dext gave them greater accessibility to their records and started to improve their understanding of how their business was performing.

Coupled with quarterly reports and reviews, they have developed an improved understanding of their business, have been able to plan more effectively and grow it significantly.

We have also performed a Tax Diagnostics Review to discover their personal and business goals and align them with the tax savings that are available in their business.

 

What They Said

I had previously used a large national accounting company to provide accountancy services to my business.

Due to the size of the accounting company, I did not have a single point of contact and, therefore, was unable to develop a working relationship with one or more people in the organization.

Moreover, the accounting company used a bespoke accounts software package that was inflexible and narrow in its application.

In summary, whilst the accounts service provider was able to ensure that my business accounts were compliant, the accounts service provider were unable to deliver a personal service that was tailored to both my business and personal circumstances.

In turn this had the effect of negatively impacting both business and personal financial planning.
