When we reviewed the announcement of the Kickstart scheme last September, we highlighted the obstacles for many small businesses by having to apply for a minimum of 30 job places (or to collaborate with other business to achieve the 30 places).
From 3 February 2021, the Kickstart Scheme has changed:
– No longer need a minimum of 30 job placements to apply directly for a grant;
– You can apply online yourself.

It is fantastic news that the barriers for small businesses to benefit from the scheme have now been removed.
